BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. L. F. Behrens, a Manchester shipper and merchant, is vice-president of the World Federation of United Nations Associations, and vice-chairman of the U.N.A. general council in Britain. Born in 1890 and educated at Rugby and Manchester University, he is a member of the Liberal Party’s national council. In the 1914-18 war he served with the Serbian Relief Fund at Salonika. He has been president of the Standing Joint Com-mittee of the Combined English Universities.
