BIOGRAPHY :
Mr. D. H. Broome is 27, and won a history scholarship at Cambridge which he could not take up owing to the war. As a test engineer for aircraft he was severely injured during a flight, but later joined the Fleet Air Arm and saw service in the Pacific, and was wounded. On demobilization he graduated at Oxford, and is a technical officer with I.C.I.
