BIOGRAPHY :
Sir John Reynolds is a well-known figure in the civic, business, and social service circles of Liverpool. Now in his 51st year, he is senior partner in one of the oldest cotton broking firms of the city, and also a director of a bank. He formerly sat on the city council, and fought Bolton in 1945. He holds a number of public offices and is a prominent layman of the Roman Catholic Church. He is a member of the University Council.
