BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. R. Bell, born in Kirkcaldy in 1901 and graduating in law at Edinburgh University, is a partner in a Leith firm of solicitors and specializes in commercial law. He is a former chairman of Leith Chamber of Commerce and a member of the executive of the Scottish Unionist Association. He was elected to Edinburgh Town Council in 1948.
