BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. C. F. C. Lawson, the son of a miner, was educated at elementary and grammar schools, and at college, and is a head master. For many years he was a member of the Chester-?e-Street Urban Council. He is on the executive committee of the National Union of Teachers, and during the war was a captain in the Royal Artillery.
