BIOGRAPHY :
Mr. W. Pigott is mayor of Hereford and has taken an active part in local government, having been a member of the city council since 1932, and has done much work in connexion with housing. He is chairman of Hereford Labour Party and secretary of the divisional party. He was born in Scotland in 1900, attended Glasgow Academy, and later went to Ruskin College. He is a medical herbalist.
