Mr. Christopher York sat for the old Ripon division since 1939. He specializes in agricultural subjects. As a landowner and farmer, he bi eeds ped i-gree T.T. Red Poll cattle near York. Educated at Eton and Sandhurst, he joined the Royal Dragoons in 1930 and served with them throughout the war. He is 40.
