BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. A. Albu, born in Hampstead in 1903, was for 15 years works manager at a Greenford factory. Educated at Ton-bridge School and the City and Guilds (Engineering) College, his first employment was in workshops and shipyards in the Midlands and North. He is a member of the A.E.U. and is on the Fabian Society executive. In 1946, in Germany, he was responsible for co ordinating political and administrative policy and the development of the new German constitution. He was elected M.P. at a by-election in 1948.
