BIOGRAPHY :
Mr. J. Hope, a journalist, 34 years of age, was born in the constituency and worked on Scottish newspapers before going south. He is a former member of the B.B.C. news staff and subsequently a public relations officer in the Ministry of Supply. His wife, Charlotte Frances, producer and dramatist, was a founder of the repertory movement in Dundee.
