BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. J. Clunie was born in 1889, became a house painter, and was for 18 years a member of the executive of the Scottish painters’ society, and three times its chairman. He has been chairman of the local Trades and Labour Council since 1926, and has served on the Dunfermline Town Council and the Fife education authority.
