BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. Tom Williams, Minister of Agriculture, has represented this div is-ion uninterruptedly for nearly 30 years, being first elected inNovember, 1922. Starting work as a miner, he concentrated on agricultural subjects when most of his fellow Labour members were swept from Parliament in 1931. He was Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agric?lture throughout the war and became the Minister of Agiiculture on the formation of the Labour Government in 1945. He is 61.
