Mr. E. Peake, who contested the Blaydon division in the last election against the Labour Chief Whip, is a brother of Mr. O. Peake, M.P. for North Leeds. Educated at Eton and Cambridge, he is a barrister. During the war he saw considerable service as an intelligence officer with the R.A.F. in the Middle East.
