BIOGRAPHY :
Mr. A. L. B. Childe, aged 55, a manufacturer’s agent in Leeds, is a member of Leeds Chamber of Commerce and of the Cotton Board. A Methodist local preacher and well known in Bradford and Leeds cricketing circles, he has also engaged actively in municipal government in Leeds. He fought with the 50th Division in the 1914-18 war.
