BIOGRAPHY :
Mr. W. S. Morrison, K.C., was born in 1893 in Scotland. He served in the 1914-18 war, and has represented Cirencester and Tewkesbury since 1929. Before the war he held several junior posts, and in 1939 was appointed Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster. He was the first Minister of Food from 1939 to 1940, and subsequently became Minister ?f Town and Country Planning. He took silk in 1934.
