BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. D. L. Lipson was M.P. for Cheltenham from 1937 until the dissolution. He is a former master of Cheltenham College and afterwards was in charge of a private school. He was born in 1886, and was educated at the Royal Grammar School, Sheffield, and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. From 1935 to 1937 he was mayor of Cheltenham, and is an alderman of the town and of Gloucestershire County Council.
