BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. W. W. Tong is a former mayor of Bolton. He was born on February 26, 1890, and took the degree of technical science with honours at Manchester University. He joined j-he family brewing business in Bolton and became a director. He has been a member of Bolton Town Council since 1925, and is leader of the Conservative group on that body.
