Mr. J. Lewis was one oi the two Labour M.P.s returned for Bolton in •945. He is a rubber technologist and the inventor of a number of Processes for substitute materials which were widely used during the H war. A steward of the | tfoxmg Board of Control, he has always been interested in sport, especially boxing. He is 37.
