BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. R. C. Pitman is the grandson of the retiring Labour member, Sir Charles Edwards. A former minister, he became chief instructor under the Army educational scheme at the holding unit of The Royal Sussex and The Royal Berkshire Regiments. He was lately secretary and treasurer of the Welsh Conservative M.P.s’ and Prospective Candidates’ Association.
