Mr. L. J. Humphrey, aged 65, was in the 1929 campaign in charge of Liberal Party publicity. An authority on agriculture, he was for 14 years in the Department of Agriculture for Ireland. During the war he was responsible for an organization concerned with the aircraft industry.
