BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. C. Hughes is a soldier, and was born in Holyhead in 1916. He was at the University?College of Wales, Aberystwyth, and graduated in law in 1937. A member of the Anglesey County Council, he is also a member of the Court of Governors of the University of Wales and of the National Museum of Wales. He was Labour candidate for the constituency in 1945. He served in the R.A.F. in the last war and was a flight lieutenant.
